OK, ladies. You hold this out as the ideal, and yet settle for much less...in fact, in a lot of cases,,you ENCOURAGE much poorer behavior. If you (as a group) want consideration, politeness, etc., stop encouraging the opposite. It's in your hands.

Non-Dick thing to do: retrieve the printer for the neighbor, explain the "prank", and show him how to change wifi and router passwords.

But, the scam a printer approach is another way to go.

I am really glad that A murderer got caught and punished. But, that said, given the finite government resources for investigation and prosecution, I wonder how many murders went uninvestigated because all of the resources were focused on this politically popular one.

I don't mind that South Park offends my politics or religion, gender or race, because they offend everyone equally. That's very different than most other shows that imagine that they are political because they really only a straight white heterosexual males.

Even if your heart used 100% of the calories you took in each day, there's no way that 1500 to 3500 cal could drive a truck even a fraction of a mile. The limit to the amount of energy expended by the heart has to be from food energy, because you can't take in energy in any other Way...we don't have photosynthesis, for example.

The heart may pump X gallons of blood each day, which is equivalent to something else, but the energy part doesn't make sense.

guest · 7 years ago
He wasn't "mansplaining," which is when a man condescendingly explains something a woman already knows because it's not that hard to comprehend. He's *explaining* that this method is wrong because it will eat up more power than it gives because of...engineering/science.

If you try this and it seems to work, it's only because there was charge left in your battery that you are actually draining at a faster rate.

Uneducated teenagers 23 comments
guest · 7 years ago
And here's the damn thing: those teenagers were never oppressed by the south, were never slaves and their parents weren't slaves either. So here they go feeling the obligation to be offended at something and they can't even get offended at the right thing! When everything is offensive than nothing as offensive. We're almost there.

Another lesson would be trying to learn a little bit about history to have some education on the subject rather than just have an opinion on every subject that you feel is equally as good as everybody else's opinion that's based on actual fax.

Can I chime in with my dad stuff here? If This happened to one of my kids I'd say let's clean it up and think of ways that we could prevent this from happening next time. But I see some kids say "oh no there was no way to prevent me from spilling this." It's got to be an argument about how yes there are indeed several things that could've been done to prevent spilling that slushy over the place. It's not about making a mistake, it's to see how you could have prevented it in the can prevent things from happening again in the future.

There are several ways you could have avoided the mistake, we don't pay 100% attention all the time so mistakes do happen. I don't argue with me that it was inevitable, and there's no way anybody on earth could have avoided doing that stupid thing. Sometimes we really do have to pay attention to what we're doing to the exclusion of typing on the phone looking at a car out in the parking lot or whatever

This whole "discussion" misses an important point: This is how women really act. On average, you get a lot more of this reaction from women. Of course, not all women are 100% like that, and not all men are completely unlike that. But as a gender, women pull that stuff much much more than men.

In the interest of fairness, if there were a joke about a man radioing back to NASA and then not asking directions, I'd say that depicted a male trait. Certainly not all men are like that, and definitely not in the situation of being in space. But disliking having a foible being noticed and joked about doesn't make it false.

Two,lessons here:
Ladies, your man is probably not as devious and complex as you fear in your worst moments.
Guys, when you have good thoughts about your wife, verbalized them. She doesn't know how much you love her in your thoughts, so put it into words now and then.

1. If you are a legal immigrant, that is, you followed all the regulations to live and work here and become a citizen, welcome. People are only against ILLEGAL immigrants coming here and taking advantage of the system, benefits, etc. so, saying only that you're an immigrant doesn't really amount to an intelligible protest or discussion point.

2. I see the sign is in well-written English. Interesting that it's not in a foreign language that everyone is somehow expected to understand...like all the ones decrying the lack of free benefits to non-citizens written in Spanish.

Who feels the need to tear down statues of people that others may admire but they themselves don't like or feel they represent something they find bad?

You snowflakes are really missing the point. The idea is that we can't tolerate Islamification of the United States because they will force their intolerant ways on us like throwing homosexuals off tall buildings, sharia law and no rights for women. You can be as tolerant as you want but They will certainly impose their intolerance on us. There are areas in now in Sweden were 100% of the rapes are committed by Muslim "refugees." There are many areas in Europe, Canada and the United States that are no go areas where the police won't go and essentially the Muslim mob rule is the law they go by.
