I may be blind, but... where in this article does it identify who "Gwynn" is?

I wish I could say that.. My brain hurts after reading it. My Scottish ancestors are gonna rise from the grave and hunt me down . . . I'd be scared except I don't think they'll make it across the Atlantic.

I'm sure that's true. On the other hand, my friend says that people take him more seriously now that his voice is fully in the typical male voice range.

The angels are the scariest. Being sent back in time so they can live off the lost energy of your potential future isn't even all that painful - of course, then there's the angry ones that just choke the life out of you, but I think that's the exception not the rule (?) - but it horrifies me all the same. Plus the whole "only move when you don't see them" thing and moving at the speed of light. Eeeek.

"A 30 minute drive from my friend's city to my city." Sometime in my life I need to travel to a place where this is possible, just because. Probably I need to go to Europe...

Good! But at the same time, I'm bothered by the fact that 5 years is longer than most rape sentences... of course, I don't know England's laws, so hopefully it's longer there!

It always startles me when people think under 16 is too young to work (although it does make me question the laws of my province that I was raised with). In Alberta, you can legally work when you're 12 - though most places have their own policies regarding age and hire 14 and up, or so. 12 year olds can only work up to 2 hours a day on a weekday though. I forget how much on weekends. They told us this in the first year of jr high school though, when most of us were 12 going on 13.

Thank you!! These are all accurate analogies. Google can't stop you from saying what you want to say - but they can refuse to give you a platform to do so. I'd give you a lighter if you said you were starting a campfire up for us, but I'd definitely take it back if you burnt my friend's house down with it. Get your own lighter.

I'd rather be vegan than lose all my toes to frostbite. (And no, I can't just choose to wear them for 6 warm months of the year - there are only about 3 1/2 warm months here)

I'm inclined to agree with iccarus - but a lot does depend upon the context of the psychiatrist/client relationship

This is actually super cute. You can presumably put the actual numbers back in when you need to know your weight, but this would be such a sweet thing to wake up to.

We can hope so.... A faint hope in my case. But I can't stand believing this girl is for real. And yet.

I had to go through way more language translations than I expected to make "That's exactly what I was thinking" have that different of a meaning...

I think it's a nice idea. It sets up the concept of school as an achievement worth celebrating.

We do it in Canada. At least, my school did and I'm sure others in the area too.
