I'm an observer. That means that I don't talk much, or engage in conversations as much as the others. Instead I listen, analyze, and draw rightful conclusions. I do this every day, to the people I meet every day, and I am content with observing these weird creatures going through their social interactions and strange mating rituals. Some of these creatures, I care about very much. Some of these creatures are my friends.
And then, there's the creature that wants to be with them, romantically.
I have nothing against that. I actually encourage these creatures to be with them, to talk to them and make them feel as loved as they possibly can. Eventually these creatures become part of our daily social rituals, and I can observe them as well. And I'm a good observer. I notice the smallest changes of a person's behavior, the tiniest indicators of psychological strain or strange behaviors. By watching someone interact with others, or not interact with others, seeing the way they hold themselve

So I wait. I wait until the inevitable (or the thing that will never happen), and when my friend's feelings are hurt, I strike. I don't hold any verbal punches, because my friend is worth more to me than this scum's emotions. And I can say a single sentence, a single word, to make their eyes widen in fear and shock as they try to understand how I knew that thing. And I smile, the sweetest smile I can muster, and I revel in their fear, because now they know why I am silent. Now they know why I listen.
It's so that I can make them aware of just how able I am to destroy them.
