@serosenpai Lol everyone agrees that words have power until you say that that power is racially motivated. And a word being racist and slur related for 400 years (by a ton of Spanish-speakers) seems like enough time to reexamine it. Just a thought.

A reminder that "negro" in Spanish was borrowed from Latin for dark and Black, and FIRST used to describe [undesirable] Black people. Only later was it used to describe the color as a whole. So maybe we shouldn't just sit TF down?
