That so sucks! I was 5 foot 6 inches and I had no problems reaching what I needed and clothing fit without constant alterations. However, and I hope I don’t make shorter women feel worse, but I’m now 1.5 inches shorter (I’m 66 years old). For me, what I used to reach easily I can no longer do. I’ve given into step stools and reaching grabbers so I don’t have to be at the mercy of others to assist.
