Because he tried so hard for his family, spent hours and hours overtime at work and feeling highly stressed, as he is taking on more and more extra work, all to make money so his family can be happy and really enjoy themselves on this vacation, because as a father, he feels responsible for his family's happiness and health. However, since they are not enjoying it, he feels like a failure of a father, and wonders if he will ever be good enough, whether his wife and children will stop loving him, and whether he will lose it all.
