This is stupid - it reads as if this type of situation happens every week or so. If Mr Fisher thinks it so great, would he be the first to volunteer or is he suggesting someone else "volunteer "? Lazy "feel good" story.

Nope. Per US law, no hospital can refuse to treat some who comes into their ER. Hospitals also write off billions (with a B) in charity care and bad debts due to unpaid bills.

Medicare alone is over 15% of Federal spending, MediCaid is 28% of State budgets. States spend on average 30% of their budgets on education. Don't say we starve them of funds, how the funds are spent is a different matter.

The electoral college would work properly if the 17th Amendment hadn't f'ed up the entire system. The founders did not want directly elected senators so they would be more responsive to their state/constituency. Some states went years without representation in Congress so they got pissed when they couldn't get their sh-t together. Now they get elected for 6 years and say f u until the next time they're up for re-election.

The City of Atlanta throws away money like a drunken sailor on shore leave. Millions on streetcars that don't work, awnings at the airport instead of better traffic flow, etc. Mayor's chief of staff charging the city for personnel travel. Most corrupt city in the nation.

You mean you don't want random bee trash in your honey? Raw unfiltered product will have wings, legs, larvae and other things in it.
