Dumbest thing to get punished for 10 comments

In 5th grade these two kids got in an argument over who was out in a game of handball. I had been next in lineto play, so I had been carefully watching and went over to tell them what I saw (they both technically should have been out, so they should just re-do it). Apparently a few other kids meant to do the same thing and there ended up being a circle around the two arguing kids. One of them wanted his space so he held out his hand and sort or swung it around himself, in the process grazing me on the cheek. I wasn’t hurt and decided to let them sort it out so I left and pretty much forgot about it.
Later that day I was called to the principals office and was scared, not sure why I was called. The girl who had been arguing over the ball with the guy had apparently told the principal that the guy hit me.
I explained that it was an accident and he barely touched me, but instead of letting me go, I was forced to sit there with the guy and girl and listen to the rest of the situation.

TLDR; I ended up having to come up with a punishment for myself for something I didn’t do because I tried to help peacefully solve an argument.
