so I work at sonic right, a lot of people don't know that the carhops make 3.25 an hour and that we make tips. we're not allowed to advertise or even say that carhops make tips, we can't ask, and we have to give exact change even if the customer says to keep the change. the only time we get to keep the tips is if they go out of their way to give you a dollar or more outside of the bill
