These folks need help. The more you demand them go to jail or die without having acted the more likely they will because why the hell not if thats how they'll end up anyway. Its a sad cycle. Jail the ones who did the act but send the ones who havent to see someone to help them.

Then they wouldn't say for aesthetic reasons. Saying that is like saying that you want to adopt it cause fashion. If you're worried about shedding then provide the place with necessary info about what yiu are looking for. Plenty of shelters would be happy to show you the animals that fit that criteria. Like if you want a dog that is easy to train they might have one thats already trained. Or one thats small cause you live in an apartment. These are all valid reasons. Fashion is not.
