Speaking as a current McDonalds employee (not that I want to work here :v ) If you want "actual eggs", ask for your sandwich with a round egg. Those are made with fresh eggs, cracked and cooked on the spot.
That stuff you see there? Those are the folded eggs. Theyre real too, they're just pre-cooked and kept refrigerated because it's easier and faster to warm them up than it is to cook them from scratch
