And that's why children today are 'snowflakes'. My parents never prevented me from doing stuff like this, they'd say a firm 'NO' and if I didn't listen, I'd quickly learn why there was a NO in the first place. First time you have to get burned to learn that fire is hot, second time won't be necessary.
