It's pathetic and abusive how taxation works in this 'modern age'. Our wages get taxed because we're 'contributing to our society and economy'. Then the food and water we buy are again taxed even though we already contributed to the state! Shouldn't only the sellers be taxed since it's their 'wages' that they're earning through selling the products to us - consumers?
Why are we taxed because we're trying to stay alive?
Then we pay tax on our rent so we have somewhere to sleep while we keep the economy on it's feet. We also pay tax on every single medical expense.
