I used to do this all time. On my aunts farm, it was located on the top of a small-ish mountain that overlooked ALL of the city. I used to go up to the top of it at night and gaze at it all. Imagine the purple night sky with the bright moon sprinkled with glistening stars and peculiar clouds. Under that, the lights of all the big buildings of the city... I can't grasp how phenominal it was. All I can say is, enjoy those things while they last! They'll be gone before you know it.
