But y’see, the guy’s face/head appeared to have been hurtling toward that rock, so at the very least since he appears to have been the one belaying the girl, I think they’d both be in serious trouble. I don’t think she notified him that she was going to start climbing and make sure that he was “on belay”. He didn’t look like he was paying attention. Also, if she was going to jump for it, he should have been in a very different position, possibly anchored to something if possible. Poor form on both ends.
