Just read a theory that men are “homophobic” because they see sex as inherently predatory. Since they don’t want to be prey, non-heterosexual sex makes them feel uncomfortable. It’s not about the sex; it’s about the degradation.

Although, of course, the idea of someone being treated as an object instead of a human is a problem for all humans, as most of us prefer to treat others AS humans.

See, this is why harassment and rape are a problem for males who don’t. You never get a clear and happy reaction, because we always have to think, can’t relax, and must second-guess. But hey, it’s all worth it, right? Leaving women hanging out to dry from birth legal/social protection-wise has no consequences, right?

Well, see, at THAT point - I’m prolly headed to let it go. My husband is extremely restful because I’m usually very, very busy in my thoughts and he is less stressed on things. It’s irritating now and again, but it’s calming for me. I’ll just put down the phone and think for a few days and come back to it if I have more to say.

Love this father’s response to girls and women are in danger: wish this amorous bad thing he can do NOTHING about - I mean, really, it’s just such a shame women were born to be hurt and live in fear! - GET OFF YOUR ASS AND DO SOMETHING USEFUL. Like, for starters: not indicating that your sorrow is that it must be so, instead of equipping your daughters with a better sense of self than you seem capable of giving....
