Researchers make sharks have Twitter in Australia 5 comments

Due to the amount of times the sharks swim up and down the coast the tweets are pretty much non-stop. This, combined with peoples general fear of creatures they can't control has sparked the most rediculous of all solutions. Our government will now have giant baited hooks 1 kilometre out from several of the main beaches to catch sharks "larger than 3 metres". Unfortunately these hooks are non-discriminatory, so friendly shark species will also die. The baited hooks will also attract sharks closer to the beach than some have ventured before.
Human beings make me sad on so many occasions, but there has also been nationwide protests against the governments plans. Protests Colin Barnett has completely ignored. (Research him, who knows how he was voted back in)
If you don't want to be attacked by a shark, it's quite simple. As they say, no dry man ever died of a shark attack. It is their home, and we choose whether to go in the ocean.
