Can you read? No one called you stupid. The "childish thing" here is your assumption that everyone but you is stupid.
And what does "blindsided by the bigger picture" even mean? Cause it sounds like "not being fixated on an invented delusion that z wants to be angry about."
The statement that no one is mentioning the massive team is entirely false, as literally everyone is a) aware of them and b) aware of them because of the way the discovery was described.
For someone who is really hung up on the way things are being presented, you don't pay much attention to what other people say, do you?

The plague disappeared because they learned to kill the infected fleas which were the vector of the disease and they lived on the rodents. So pest control defeated the plague, not the medical field.

As a female car mechanic I can wholeheartedly say that the kind of garyd-asshats (either as colleague or as customer, had both) are the main reason i regretted my career choice. Btw i finished best of district (mixed competition) so it‘s not like skill was the problem. It just sucks when you have a degree and some dude comes along and prefers any (even less competent) male opinion over yours just because tits.
So, if you wondered: the reason why some women have trouble with any sort of handywork; talent is only a part of it- the other part is raising your children in a way that doesnt teach them to be afraid of certain tasks or things.

In context, this story is one of several explanations for love offered at a symposium that Socrates is at. Everyone goes around in a circle and explains how they think love works, and this is the story told by one of the more jokey characters. As far as I remember, a lot of the rest of it is used to explain why some people are attracted to men or women based on the type of person they were attached to originally.

And if you have realized that there was a whole team working as well, why do you assume that the rest of the internet is too stupid to understand the same thing?
There's this thing news outlets do where they pick one person to focus on to put a face to a group, and anyone who has ever read the news, seen a TV interview, or watched a movie on a historical topic knows this intuitively. Stop being "sickened" by the stupidity you imagine everyone other than you to have.

The fact that you are sickened by scientists (any scientists) being recognized for their achievements sickens me. But I imagine you’re likely just sickened because you read somewhere in reddit that Andrew Chael wrote 850,000 lines of code even though he himself dismissed that claim. But hey, do you and be mad.

On the one hand, identifying him as an ex-con reinforces the idea that ex-cons are good people and not just bad people roaming free. On the other hand, representing a people by a person can cut both ways as a double-edged sword of representation, so accepting this also means accepting things like "ex-con still villain, obviously".
