"Miami Beach police say 46-year-old Jonathan Crenshaw held a pair of scissors with his feet and stabbed 22-year-old Cesar Coronado just after midnight Tuesday. Crenshaw is well-known in Miami Beach as a street artist who uses his feet to paint, according to local media. Crenshaw claimed he acted in self-defense after Coronado punched him in the head, the Herald reports. Coronado, a tourist visiting from Chicago, and a friend told police that Coronado had only asked for directions before the alleged attack, The publication has profiled Crenshaw in the past and found he has had multiple run-ins with police and other officials, including violent crime charges."

Then stop asking how old, if it doesn't really matter to you either way. Parents have to give the age of the child in week/months to the doctors and it becomes second nature to respond that way. I doubt any parent living in the whirlwind of shit, vomit and no sleep gives a fuck about converting for you. So get over yourselves, enjoy your rest and with that extra energy you waste complaining do your own conversion.

Part of being an adult is knowing how to cope with tough times. Babies, kids, they cry the moment things hurt. You want to remain a kid, you seek out a cry closet the moment the going gets tough. You want to be an adult, you tough it out till the time and place is right. Grooming a generation of pansies isn't gonna help us.

This is really funny. But to turn the tables, if it was Obama rather than Trump, people would scream racism.

The best sports people get rewarded the most. If women want to be paid equally in sport, they should compete at the same level.
Why are women segregated in sport, when they wouldn't be, in other work places. Is that not sexist? Is that inequality?
Should black men not have their own basketball league for example?... as they are taller and stronger than white men?
I don't want there to be an end to womens sport, its just a paradox that no one ever mentions. Oh well!

Most football people don't give dried turd for womens' football because it's frankly awful..... no speed, power and comically bad goalkeeping. I've tried, my wife has tried, our friends have tried but...... no....... no thanks. A bad mens match is still better than a 'good' womens match.

Is the Women World Cup advertised as much? Do we talk about women playing soccer? No, because we still think that most sports, including soccer, are a man's thing.

I once read that people in general aren't that opposed to being with someone less attractive. Because if your partner is "out of your league" (I hate that expression tho) you may get paranoid about them cheating.

Pterodactyl opera = screeching and screaming, if I understood correctly. The parents are embarrassed because their kid is a loud asshole and they want to leave as quickly as possible as to not inconvenience other people in the restaurant who just want to eat their meal in peace.
.
If I sound passive aggressive, I am. I think it's quite irresponsible of parents to take children who are either too young or badly behaved to know when to shut up to places like restaurants. I get it, you wanna go out and have a good time. But that's what nannies are for, you won't have much of a good time with a screaming brat by your side anyway.

If all or half the people who use childcare just quit to stay home our economy and services would be terrible (doctors, teachers, directors, project managers, all the way down to standard hourly wage workers). There are numerous studies about how child care strengthens the economy, and for low income families they often provide essential meals (some daycares provide multiple meals so it could be the only assured meals some kids get) just like the free and reduced price meals at standard K-12 schools provide.
Blanket statements insinuating parents who use childcare don't see their kids are ignorant.
Just because you chose to live "just above the poverty line & my wife doesn't work" doesn't mean others are wrong in their decision to not live that way. People work, their earnings are taxed, that tax money goes to provide services that everyone uses, even you.
If you were hurt/killed how would your wife support you/herself? Some of us plan for contingencies mere budgeting cant solve.

It also is the catch where if you take five years off of work to take care of your child then you cannot get back into a job at the level you were when you left (possibly happens for a few, but for most you're SOL). Employers want (rightfully) current skills and can't hold a job for you for extended absences. My husband and I love both our children but they were in that infant daycare room at a cost higher than our mortgage, to keep them happy, socialized, and taken care of while we earn the money to ensure they have everything they need now, so we can provide them opportunities in the future, and so that we can retire without needing their support. They love/loved their daycare, they are & know they are loved at home. Some people do really great staying at home with their kids, but it's not feasible for most, & unlike some places where the parents offload their kids onto other kids or grandparents as free childcare, it's not an option, nor the best option, for all.

If you look at the statistics of gun ownership vs gun violence across the world, the US has vey high (legal) ownership, and one of the lowest per capita deaths per 1000000 of,population. The numbers are skewed by the high amount of gun violence in cities which are (coincidentally?) controlled by the strongest gun control advocates, and have the strictest gun control laws but still have the most violence. So,really, a large part of what you're seeing is media frenzy over "the latest thing." You're child is still much much more likely to die in a pool accident.
Remember the rash of fires set in Black churches? Turns out the number was the same as ever, but the media made that a thing one year. We didn't seem too concerned about the Russians when the Secretary of State was giving them plutonium, but now "Russian medling" is in the news and being broadcast all the time.
Maybe take a look at the numbers before agitating for more laws that will only be obeyed by the law abiding.

Lack of proofreading.
Lack of having someone else also proofread...there are mistakes that we make that we have a hard time recognizing.

I had a catalogue of Boteros paintings for some time. Imo they are the most dystopic and also nauseatingly accurate depictions of contemporary decadence. They disgust and repell me.
