For the same reason you should care if someone thought you were a loser in real life. Nobody wants to be a loser.

Yes she can eat whatever she likes, but she should have some self-respect and acknowledge her accountability in this situation. She is a burden to society in many ways. Fat people cost more to treat, and are restricted to certain jobs. They also then can develop mental health issues and that costs society a fuck load of money too. So everytime she fails to delay her own personal gratification by ramming another burger down her throat, she is not just being a disgusting, hedonistic, pleasure seeker who has no control over her basic impulses, she is also hurting everyone around her.
