A wonderful group of people here....all dog lovers. Dogs seem to bring out the best in everyone. When we lose a dog to death, you can tell by a person's eyes that they know exactly how you feel. As much as they love us, we sometimes forget how much we loved them and how much kindness we learn during their life. I am not sure which person here wrote about dogs dying and that they are the best, " except the dead ones" but it made me think and remember my dog who died when I was only five years old. I still remember what she liked, how she felt and those beautiful eyes. They live in our hearts forever. Thanks for that remark, it made me think of my first dog and how I adored her. They are part of us forever and as long as we remember them, they are alive in our hearts. ❤️
