It’s a movie!!! It’s not that serious! You are grown men and women crying over a CHILDREN'S MOVIE!! 1. Many are saying the movie is “ruined” because it’s a black actor implying that black people are bad actors. 2. It’s fictional! 3. The more you guys complain about it the more fuel you’re giving the black/non-racist community to go see and support it just for the sole purpose of pissing you all off! Grow up and stop bitching. Disney obviously doesn’t care about your unjustified complaints

It's a common misconception that dad's say no to dogs because they don't want them, bit instead it's that they know they'll usually spoil them instead.

You also forgot to rally the anti-patriarchy people to refuse taking this drug invented by old white males.

Here's the full message; prepare to be outraged:
We extend our sincere condolences. If we played a small part in Ollie’s happiness we are honoured.
Generations of fans have responded to our characters with the same wonder and delight that Ollie did. In fact, many believe the characters to be real.
We have striven to preserve the same innocence and magic around our characters that brought Ollie such joy.
For that reason, we follow a policy that began with Walt Disney himself that does not permit the use of characters on headstones, cemetery or other memorial markers or funeral urns.
Although we cannot grant the family’s request, we would be pleased to commemorate your nephew with a hand-inked, hand-painted, personalized cel that recognises his love for Spider-Man, which will read: For your ——- (nephew’s name), Thank you for letting us share in the magic of your life. Your friends at the Walt Disney Company.
We feel privileged to have had him as a fan.

Guess what happened? Those rotten bastards at Disney only wrote a personal message to the family and offered a personal cell commemorating Ollie’s life. How evil can this heartless corporation be.

She's absolutely top notch at self aggrandizement and bitching about how men can't take her.

In case anyone's wondering, the mouse's "swollen backside" are actually the mouse's giganticly normal testicles.

Westerns are now action movies set in the old west. In other words, they've been dead. Sad.

@famousone I admire your service to the American armed forces, I really do. But you do realize that you serve for an organization the ROUTINELY judges regimes from other eras by modern sensibilities and sends in troops to maintain their present day opinion of what peace should be? My point is that the meme positions things as though Kaepernick’s objection was to Betsy Ross and her works, which I don’t think is why he’s upset, and tries to make it seem like he’s stupid or misguided or something. Look, I actually kind of liked the shoes and understood what Nike was trying to do. I just don’t like that this meme seems to be missing the point about Kaepernick’s stance - whether you agree with him or not - and what he was actually trying to make a statement about.

A relative of the victim, or his own relative? I hope it's the latter, because that is way more satisfying.

Also, the U.S. Flag code states: ‘The flag should never be used for any advertising purpose, nor embroidered on cushions or handkerchiefs, printed on paper napkins or boxes, nor used as any portion of a costume.’ It also says ‘The flag should never touch anything beneath it, such as the ground, the floor, water, or merchandise.’ So, technically, the flag probably shouldn’t be put on shoes (merchandise) that touch the ground all day long then advertised to get people to buy them.

The objection is not to Betsy Ross or her works. The objection is to a flag created at a time when ‘independence’ only meant independence for a select subset of the population. Keep in mind women couldn’t vote in 1776 and even the Irish were considered minorities then. So it wasn’t really a time of ‘freedom for all’. Just ‘freedom for some’. Which I think is where I think the issue of using this particular flag on a shoe comes about.

No everything this fucker believes and stands for (kneels for?) shows absolute and utter stupidity. Ignorance can be taught, this waste of oxygen can not.

Yep.
For that sub-group of imbecile Americans, yes; a complete and utter ignorance of history.
(funny how, generally speaking, the rest of the first world knows this shit, and the willfully ignorant group in America don't)
