She also happens to be a pornstar. Of course, that does not invalidate her point, either. Just helps explain the name.

I would like to see people's comments and support if the 'real issue' is actually presented in banning the burka and niqab. By presenting this debate only using the hijab is a cowered move and is used as a click bait.

Maybe you’re over-sensitive and a coward, but hey, maybe that’s just my point of view.

I was of average height, but easily the fastest runner and most athletically inclined and competitive, even if not the most gifted. I took great pleasure in humiliating those around me. I still do in fact

What happens when you insert a coin and turn the knob? Kill the fish by taking a bit of its water away each time?

I actually don't mind the debate whether or not the earth is flat.
Healthy debate and brainstorming is entertaining, and who knows, maybe something is learnt on both sides - even if it is minuscule.
It's when a regime walks in and insists that the earth is flat (for example) and places censorship policies on all information on how the earth is round - that's the line, we as a society, have to pay attention to.

I'm going to call exaggeration; workplaces that bother to mandate pants also have guidelines for skirt/dress length (because pants only on men but allowable short skirts on women can be deemed creating a sexually hostile environment) and the dude is not wearing a professional-length appropriate dress.

Yeah unfortunately for me my hair is the equivalent of book Hermione’s hair and it is not changing anytime soon. The worst part is my hair was fine, just wavy and pretty till I turned 11 and it’s been a crazy frizzy curly mess ever since.

Easy enough to check. "OK, show us your car, and give me the keys so I can check the fuel level."

That's really nice for them to supply all that stuff, but isn't there a certain amount of waste? I get that someone who doesn't have toothpaste might also need deodorant, but if a woman prefers pads or tampons, isn't the other one going to be discarded? Or is it better to have both than to have to ask for things like that separately? Or is the cost small compared to being able,to give out one thing that works for all?

I mean Hawaii = Atlantis. Mamoa is king of Hawaii, therefore he is Aquaman. Simple math

Forcing someone to uncover and humiliating her for covering herself is the same thing though. Let people wear whatever they like, covered or uncovered! We hold different values! Let it be like that. It's none of our business!

Why is the vet thing relevant? Would he leave another 96 year old to handle it himself?

when you are arrested, you are stripped of your rights. when i was in a county jail for 6 months, i worked as a "trustee" for 14 hour days for 50 cents an hour and one free haircut a month.

But this issue goes the other way around too, I choose to wear a hijab and people still think I'm brainwashed or value my opinion as less just because of my faith. I don't think faith and education are exclusive things that cannot exist together. If people just called it oppression when a government is enforcing it down someone's throat I completely understand, but that's not what happens. Almost a 100% of the time, when I see posts on oppression and how backwards "muslim culture" is, it is never about actual islam and while loosely based on a country or two that takes things beyond what God has asked of us, it conveniently fails to mention that. I live in a 100% muslim nation that practices shariah law. The government funds my degree in Computer Science. We aren't oppressed because of just our faith. We are oppressed in countries where people act like animals. You don't help us by attacking what we wear, you help us by rallying against the actual people that DO attack girls.
