This isn't abnormal/unique. You're 100x more likely to find someone matching the description above than some vivacious, outgoing, super-social extrovert. These things aren't special. They're very, very common in a vast majority of people, even the ones who can swallow their discomfort and make small talk for a little while.
All these posts making introverts seem so "cute" and "quirky" (as if their shyness is a hint towards hidden genius) are getting annoying. I used to consider myself an introvert, but I don't want to associate myself with pretentious lists like the one above.

Did you know what Japan did in World War II 35 comments

Look up the "rape of Nanking" by the Japanese. It's horrific; far worse than anything the nazis did (that may be a bold statement, but it's true)
Some rural Japanese would even run themselves off the edge of cliffs with their children to avoid capture, which was the ultimate shame. The emperor taught them all human life next to his was worthless, including their own. It's sad.

So, if a woman makes the mistake of getting pregnant, she should pay for that mistake for 18 years?
Fine. Let's sentence the teens who try alcohol once to 18 years in prison. Or any other reckless behavior for that matter. It's stupid, certainly, but shouldn't carry an 18 year price.
And if people need to "pay the price" for their mistakes, why are so many fathers allowed to leave their children with nothing but a child support check? If you want the mother to give up her life for a mistake, at least the father should have to as well.
That's the thing with pro-life conservatives. They'll fight tooth and nail to protect a clump of brainless, heartless, sexless cells, but once that clump has developed into a fetus and is born... They join the ranks of all the other "government mooching", uneducated filth

No one is disagreeing that this girl is (no offense) a little dull. But the only thing equally pathetic is that some stranger actually took the time to write that detailed response
Sorry, but if I was him, I would've just kept scrolling

Wearing glasses isn't like being unable to walk. Being blind is like being unable to walk
A better analogy would be glasses and having a slight limp
Sorry... Just had to clear that up

This one media case of a boy being kicked off a sports team is not opression. Men holding the door open for women is not opression. In Pakistan, Nicaragua, Africa, Sudan, Iran, Afghanistan, rural china, and countless other places women are married off at 14, denied an education, raped and acid attacked without punishment, and have absolutely no say in government or politics. THIS is opression. Gender stereotypes will always exist in America. Girls will always get slammed on certain occasions, as will boys. Unfortunately, that's just the way it is. Just as there will always be a gay guy being made fun of somewhere, or a black man being wrongfully pulled over somewhere. It's society
Sorry for the rant, but if you honestly say the job of feminism is finished and that men are being opressed, you have no idea what's going on in the rest of the world

Some of these are fake. I've been to Brazil several times, and they have many finger foods that you eat with your hands. I don't know what this business is with only using forks and knives

How to take care for introverts 27 comments

Its a little annoying how everything you see on the Internet is "I'm an introvert! Listen up! I'm an introvert! Let me tell you how to talk to us introverts, we're very complicated to understand! I did tell you I'm an introvert, right?"

And as for chivalry? There's a huge difference between chivalry and patriarchy. The two are very, very different. No, men don't have to hold open doors or pay for dinner. BUT, if they want to appeal to women's biological desire to be sheltered (and make themselves a more desirable spouse), they'll do those small acts.
And the spontaneous kiss? I disagree. In all chick flicks, the ultimate fantasy is the man grabbing his love interest and kissing her! Maybe if it's a stranger kissing a woman that would cause problems (same thing vice versa), but this logic isn't popular.
I'm sorry, but this sounds like MRA whining to me. The men that make these posts live in a world where women in the middle East are treated like dogs.
