Because when someone else takes a photo they are taking usually an eye level picture. So it is a more accurate representation of how you appear to others. However when someone takes their own photograph they tend to add angle angles and more unnecessary angles. Angles=Decentish looking pictures.

My dog is very attached to me, I'm talking like I can't leave the house without her .. she has to nap in the bathroom when Im taking a baths/showers even. But shes very territorial and protective of me. I very much believe in my own personal bubble and if anyone comes within a foot of me my dog snarls and snaps at them. Its a blessing that shes only 4 pounds or she would be doing some serious damage to people.
