It has been known for thousands of years, and then confirmed by scientific research that most couples reflect a degree of attractiveness matching. This would mean that 6's are more likely to date than a 6 and a 10 dating. So unless you are completely deluded in your relationship with a 6, you are not going to judge them as a 10. Physical attractiveness is not what keeps a couple together usually so there will be other aspects of a 6 that you a very attracted to, such as intelligence or humour.

Pretty sure that male ideas about attractiveness are pretty homogenous in comparison to women's ideas. Physical attractiveness (especially facial) can be judged objectively/scientifically and involves things such as symmetry, eye spacing, nose size, lip colour and fullness (plus many more youth and health indicators).
