what bothers me most about amish people (who in general don't bother me at all, they seem like a nice community with weird habits but don't harm anyone which is nice and i wish them all the best in their pre-electronic daily routine) is their absolute, unthinkable taste for male haircuts and facial hair stying. it KILLS me, it cancels out every single asthetic pleasure i have felt in my whole life just to look at one of them awful beards or dreadful haircuts like these in the picture. jesus holy christ whyYYYY must these people be so utterly oblivious to the importance of hair grooming.
i mean look at the traditional jews, super bushy beards and all but they look groomed! lovely! clearly owning a MIRROR! some muslim men also carry giant beard but they ALSO seem to care for their facial hair and keep it in line. but do the amish??? noooo, too busy with givine me the antiaesthetical heebie jeebies.
