- Women still bear the brunt of contraceptives and are the only ones expected to be on birth control, and their side effects can take a toll on the body (blood clotting for example).
- Additionally, depending on the person and other possible medical conditions, periods can range from as painful as childbirth to just annoying.
- Additionally pt 2, most women see the detrimental effects of childbirth on other women and learn to fear it. Not the same as experiencing it of course, but choosing between your health/career and having a child isn’t something men typically have to experience.

People pick and choose what parts of their religion they listen to. They see versus that they believe to be about condemning gay people, and they think that gives them the right to hate them, choosing to ignore the vast amount of biblical scripture teaching against that.

Fucking idiots on this site. I will attempt to explain just in case some uneducated but otherwise intelligent fool should stumble across this post and maybe I can reach him. That is absolutely NOT how "trickle down economics" works and nor was it ever intended to spread wealth down to every little pissant in every company. Remember, we're talking about a trickle not a deluge. As simply as I can put it, this means that the company has to do well financially in order for YOU to have a job. If the owner is making money, that will TRICKLE DOWN to those working for him in the form of a paycheck. I don't know about you but I have never been paid a wage by someone with LESS money than me. Maybe it's a large paycheck, maybe not. If not, find another job cupcake. No one owes you anything. If you think you deserve to make more money start your own company. Just don't forget to share your income "fairly" with everyone working for you.

So if you let's say get laid off because the company you work at starts losing money due to the situation on the market and you either lose the insurance provided by the employer or you just can't afford it until you find a new job, and something serious happens to you, you deserve to die?
The fact that you're in a good situation right now doesn't mean you will be in a few years, anything can happen. And as I already said, even with the best insurance plan the companies will still try to wriggle their way out of paying for your care because that's how they fill their pockets.
Your arguments are a textbook example of what I was talking about. "I'M in a good situation, why should I care about YOUR healthcare?" And then something bad happens and you'll beg for help and will feel angry and desperate when other people tell you that they don't give a fuck about your healthcare. I sincerely wish you never had to encounter a situation like that of course, but again, you really never know.

Hmm, I guess you're right. There are some websites where it makes sense like Reddit or where but one of the reasons why I like FS is that even though there are many people here, it feels more private and like a circle of semi-close friends than most funny websites. The text effects should be added though.

I thought he was charged with blasphemy by Jewish (and Roman?) authorities in Judea, which then led to his death. My knowledge of biblical stuff is incredibly shallow though because I'm not a believer, and in any case it's total BS to blame all Jews for what some of them maybe did almost two millennia ago.
Now, to be angry at what the Israeli government is doing right now, that's a different conversation. But again not related to Jewish people in general, just the Israeli government.

While this makes the people doing it feel better about themselves, it doesn't do anything to dissuade Westboro Baptist Church's nonsense. In fact, from what I've seen in interviews, this type of petty nonsense provides them with an antagonist, drawing them closer together.
