He also did a great job of playing anther top-notch character in Homicide: Life On The Street. But whatever network that was on kept changing the day it showed, then semi-canceled it for a while, then brought it back, then canceled it for good because there weren't enough people watching it. So, we lost an excellent show with good stories and good characters.

Plus, every law puts a burden of proof on every person and entity that they're complying. So, some company can have a hard time justifying some people getting paid more than others when some people simply outperform others because they then have to show that the lower performers were given equal opportunities.
You'd think that the top performing salesman (or saleswoman) could legally earn more because of better results, but some will complain that he serves the more profitable customers, or the company will have to prove that there's no activity that only benefits that top person (like membership in a certain club where business is conducted). There ends up being a burden of proof that you're complying, not on the person who accuses discrimination. I put "you'd think" at the beginning of this paragraph because bad logic or data seems to be accepted. The "women earn X% of men's pay" is based on all jobs across all levels of experience, which doesn't make any sense.

It's a single continuous shot, so there was no shutter speed increase.
You're seeing the effect of increased light, therefore smaller aperture, therefore deeper depth of field, and yes, as above, (enough extra light for) frame rate effect to be visible.

PSA as a 17 year old girl to all the parents out there: tell us what ya need, because otherwise i might show up braless in just a shirt and you’re trying to get me to meet someone. How hard is it to text or to yell “KID COME MEET SOMEONE” instead of yelling “KID KID KID KID”?

MADAME BOVARY. That book can die a thousand fiery deaths. I don’t agree with the underlying movement it was supposed to symbolize. It’s a mess of a book on its own thought for 50 million reasons. ONE of those reasons is: it’s a major plot point that she read romance novels in high school, so was disappointed on her wedding night. Which is - a lot to unpack. It gets worse though! Just so much more irritatingly worse! It’s just the MOST annoying. Come to think of it - the ‘othering’ and lack of reasonable motive for the main character may simply be because the male writer has ‘every precious writer syndrome’ and only talks AT or FOR women instead of TO them. This actually makes me feel slightly better. Terrible book, though. Shoot that book straight to hell. I actually burned my paperback copy once I got my exam A.

I love anime and a bunch of weeb and nerd shit but I was taught proper manners and can separate fiction from reality. I think it is more upbringing and social anxiety than the anime in the end, people will cling to what makes them feel safe and special.

I feel like Vaccinations are good and bad at the same time, because, for example, the flu vaccination. Yes it keeps you safe from the flu, but at the same time, it increases the possibility of getting Allsheimers desease.
