Um the shrimp thing is Jewish, old testament. Jesus ate whatever he wanted to eat, he wasn't about the letter of the law but it's intent and it's intent wasn't to fuck anyone up with stupid shit. As for masturbating, maybe the Catholic Bible says something there but the only masturbation I can recall in the Bible was some guy who'd "spill his seed" before having sex with his wife (formally his deceased brother's wife) because he didn't want to have a kid with her (it was a Jewish thing, when his brother died the wife became his and it was his duty to be her husband and...). That said, when children are young they really have no choice whether they go to church or gay parades. Hopefully when they're old enough and able to make more choices for themselves their parents would listen to them and respect their wishes about attending church and gay parades. Further more...
