This isn’t the whole story - the “party” that she references was a in-store event with all dog breeds welcome. Pitties and pit-mixes are allowed throughout PetSmart with the exception of group play in the doggy day-camp. They’re still let out to play but only one-on-one with staff members. They’re not allowed in group play due to the rules and regulations of the insurance company PetSmart uses because, like it or not, if a pitbull is anywhere in the room and something happens they will be blamed for it. And before you go sounding off saying that you’ll just take your business to Petco just know that they don’t even have a petshotel or doggy day-camp and if they did they would have literally the same policy. It’d be nice if y’all did a little research before jumping all over a company for offering a service but having to regulate it to keep it affordable.

So guys... sit back, relax, and get ready because I'm about to nerd out and learn you some shit:
The real difference between shaking a martini (or and drink for that matter) and stirring is purely about incorporating air into the drink or not.
There is no real 'right way' but a purist will always avoid shaking a drink like a martini so as not to "bruise" the spirit, bruising is the slight color change and the difference in taste, a shaken martini will have a slightly clouded look - hence the term bruised- and will taste slightly sharper due to the air bubbles that are forced into the drink whereas a stirred drink well be clear and hold a much "truer" taste of the spirit being used due to the water from the ice slowly melting and only slightly diluting the drink without lending too much taste.

Yeaaah. I worked at pet smart. In the daycare pitbulls/dogo Argentinos/American staffies can't play with other dogs. So they get to sit alone for the duration of their stay.

That's because Pet Smart isn't stupid and doesn't want to get sued when your oh-so-sweet-never-hurt-a-fly-might-lick-you-to-death-ha-ha pit bull does what it was bred to do and dismembers someone else's dog. Even the rest of the dog worshiping morons are realizing there's something wrong with this breed and wants them banned.

I didn't know this was a thing people didn't like. I mean screaming children and seat kickers are.one thing. Feet on the arm rest is another. But I never thought of plane clapping as bizarre or annoying.

This was pretty much my reality (if we're assuming that the dad was just on the phone for a few seconds when the photographer took the picture.) I had time for books and read them everywhere. Dad's work required him to stay connected pretty much 24/7 so he'd frequently be on his phone. (Just quick checks and then back to family interaction, though.)

(different guest) In assuming the best of intentions from the guest, he/she could just be meaning that giving attention to a suicidal person can often help them not commit suicide. I literally just finished a suicide prevention training yesterday and listening to suicidal people or having them call or text hotlines to be listened to was a pretty common theme. The guest might have meant, worded differently, "Hey, helpful life tip if you're feeling suicidal again: call a hotline! They'll be able to help you. Hospitals are expensive to run and staff so they're expensive to stay in, but a hotline is free."

Also, it's rather thick. It can leave...well...callouses. Use something slipperier, like KY or Astroglode. Trust me.

@guest Well then if you're so for realism, this game needs to be changed altogether! You die when you're hit once, or you can survive when it's a bullet to the arm or leg but will be forever crippled and will take actual in-game months to heal. The game is permadeath, no respawn ever. Reloading takes like two minutes, not five seconds. No picking up ammo from the ground, and just jamming it into your gun, it has to be the exact same type. You have one main weapon and one pistol, no four-weapon arsenal, no extra grenades (maybe like one but not 20!). No quest markers, no GPS, compass or even a map. Also you have needs, you gotta eat, drink, sleep, pee and poo. All in real-time, so you gotta have the game on for the night for the character to get some sleep. Most of the time is spent in the barracks, no battle-to-battle bullshit. No fast travel, of course, you gotta sit there and watch the character sit in a car for actual hours.
I could go on but I'm pretty sure you got my point.
