Imcan believe that someone stays in a comfortable /no-risk position, and misses out on the salary bumps he'd have gotten if he'd looked around. But it's a little much to,accept that one firm rubbed it in the other one's face with a sympathy card. Even if the managers had a little rivalry going, you never put ANYTHING in writing that could be used later. When resigning, you don't even put "thank you for the experience" or "I learned a lot" but just put the date you're leaving.

How about any of the following journals: Food & Function, Journal of Animal Science, Journal of Dairy Science, Journal of Nutritional Science and Vitaminology, African Health Science, Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry, Nutrition, Journal of American Medical Association, or Osteoporosis International? That is just to name a few.
'
'
Maybe try reading 'Antioxidative peptide from milk exhibits antiosteopenic effects through inhibition of oxidative damage and bone-resorbing cytokines in ovariectomized rats' in Nutrition or 'Coffee-associated osteoporosis offset by daily milk consumption - The Rancho Bernardo Study' in JAMA.

Furthermore, you do understand what 'peer-reviewed' means, right? It means that these claims are examined and tested by several other scientists within the same field from various locations across the globe. This is not some conspiracy funded by the American government. (Source: An Australian who used to be a biochemist)

Even a quick browse of scientific literature proves this to be wrong. I saw multitudes of recent peer-reviewed articles saying entirely the opposite, including this quote from the Journal of the American College of Nutrition which says "When consumed according to appropriate national guidelines, milk and its derivatives contribute essential micro- and macronutrients to the diet, especially in infancy and childhood where bone mass growth is in a critical phase. Furthermore, preliminary evidence suggests potentially protective effects of milk against overweight, obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease, while no clear data suggest a significant association between milk intake and cancer. Overall, current scientific literature suggests that an appropriate consumption of milk and its derivatives, according to available nutritional guidelines, may be beneficial across all age groups, with the exception of specific medical conditions such as lactose intolerance or milk protein allergy."

At other places, there was the possibility of running out of food. At an American (capitalist) place, it was known that they'd move heaven and earth to,avoid that, so standing in a long line would at least eventually pay off. At the time (1990) I worked for a company that made automotive engine controls, and Russian company VAZ had our personnel there working on their vehicles so they could be sold in the west.

But, capitalism is bad because some, people have more than others. We need communism because everyone is equally poor off. Well, not the ruling elites...they have more than everyone else.

Millenials are destroying industries 10 comments
guest · 5 years ago
Millenials may be "killing" certain things, like mayo, by merely avoiding them because they don't like them. It's rather easy to just refrain from eating things you just don't care for. But the student loan industry...well, that would require not borrowing for the education you feel entitled to. Go to a local school or state school when it's not your dream college experience? Major in a field that gets you a job that pays well enough to,repay your loans? Screw that, I wanna study Pacific native art history. You *could* kill the student loan industry, but you'd have to refrain from doing whatever you want (as a generation).

In the US, there is an insurance company called “State Farm”, and their tag line is “Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there.” This is play on those words, but snarky/what some people might see as silly or funny.
