Satan isn't the ruler of hell he will be a fellow occupant. He doesn't punish or reward sinners. He is a sinner. Hell is a place without God and therefore without all things that are good which comes from God. It is the natural consequenc of rejecting God

If one lives on a main road for example there might not be space there, this is guaranteed and makes it less likely for the car to be burgled or vandalised

I had a flat tire once, pulled off the highway onto an exit ramp that had a wide shoulder and started getting the stuff out of my trunk (spare, tire iron, jack). This wonderful guy pulled over behind me, in his suit gets out, showing me his business card while telling me where it was (nearby) and proceeds to do the entire tire change for me under the "let me help you with that" comment but not actually letting me do anything else, not even put the damaged tire back in my trunk. I am not a waif-like damsel in distress looking lady, but that man was amazingly kind. I tried to pay him with my emergency $20 (buying his lunch at the very least) and he refused (if he had left the business card he would have gotten a gift certificate or gift basket delivered, but he did not and I was so frazzled by my first, and hopefully only, flat tire I couldn't remember the name or job), just said that he hopes someone would pull over & help his wife if it happened to her. People can be wonderfully kind.

In addition to the comments earlier that "menu" is just a list/a list of the food available to eat, a menu could easily be orally communicated rather than just read. A waiter telling you "the special" that isn't included in the printed menu, doesn't make that item any less included.
However on the 'can they read' portion, in Tolkein's writing (The Simarillion) he leads us to believe that Orcs are just the decedents of elves (the eastern Elves, Avari) who have been corrupted. Corrupted or not knowledge is passed from parent to offspring, so it stands to reason that at least rudimentary literacy is there for some.

"And remember, Your server is not responsible for how long your food is taking to cook,"
Actually they do:
1. When do they put the order in?
2. Do they forget to put in the order?
3. Do they forget to bring you your food?
4. Do they put in your order wrong?
5. Do they drop your food?
6. Do they bring you your food obviously made wrong(such as bbq sauce on ribs, but you ordered the sauce on the side)?
7. When do they decide to come to get your order?
8. When do they put in your order?
9. When servers decide not to check up on where the food is(such as the kitchen lost a ticket, but the server never checked up on it and now it's 45 minutes later, nothing has been started yet).
10. When servers decide to be too chit chatty to let you place your order.
11. When servers have decided for us(me and my husband) that they were out of something, but brought us the next closest thing instead of asking and it turned out to be wrong so they wasted time.
I so sick and tired of servers LYING!

Sometimes words are not meant to be taken literally; simply because a single word can have multiple meanings, especially when one it is trying to communicate thoughts. "It's not what you say; it's how you say it".

1. No one claims rape is a modern invention or problem.
2. What's considered provocative or outright scandalous clothing has changed drastically over the years. Trying to draw a baseline that would apply to different centuries is stupid.
3. The clothing, rape link is brought up far, far more by people trying to "debunk" or challenge the idea than people claiming it's a factor. It's become more of a strawman than anything.
4. When people do bring up clothing and behavior in relation to rape, they're not saying anyone deserves it because of the way they were dressed or behaving, or that those things caused the rape. They simple mean that certain clothing or behavior could possibly draw the wrong kind of attention from the wrong type of person. Just like a sick baby zebra off on its own would draw the attention of a lion more than a healthy baby zebra in among a herd. It's a survival thing, not a blame thing.

Servers get tips. Sure there are assholes that don't tip but most people do. In fact, most servers at most restaurants make far more in tips than their "higher paid" hourly co-workers. Because of this universal FACT the federal government has established a minimum wage for "tipped" employees that is lower than the prevailing wage for other positions. Even so, servers (the good ones) still generally make more than the kitchen staff and, in fact, at every restaurant I've managed my servers (the good ones) typically made more than me!
On the other side of the coin, it is not the customer's responsibility to make up the server's pay and that is not what tipping is. Normal human beings thank people who do things for them and in the monitarily driven society in which we live, cash is the easiest way to do that. Tip your server as a way of showing your appreciation based on the service you receive from him or her, not on what happens in the kitchen and not because you feel obligated.
