the two book cant even compare with each other. an epic fantasy series vs. a modern fantasy series? one with an 18-49 year demographic and the other a 13-25. one about a plethora of plot arcs such as social hierarchy, religion, civil war, crime, and punishment, and the other, a single plot arc dealing with coming of age and to have revenge on a noseless guy.
harry potter is a great character with a great series, but i think game of thrones is by far a greater, more developed series
that, or these people havent actually watched game of throne or at least read the books.
