(One more thing) I think of makeup as an accessory. It can complete a look with the right lip color and eyeshadow. Also women wear it to feel confident. There are so many reasons, so don't just assume women are wearing it to attract men.

Also this girl does have a boyfriend who loves her with or without makeup. If you truly love someone you're not going to care what they look like.

Why do men dislike makeup so much? When I go out to a party or run errands I like to do my makeup for myself. Not because I'm insecure, but because I like to bring out the features I already have. I watch this girls youtube videos and she has a great personality as well. And her interests include makeup. Big flipping deal! I hear guys say all the time "take off that makeup! We don't like girls with makeup" and then they see a girl without makeup and say something like "ew she's ugly, look at that acne!" (Not saying all guys) And FYI makeup isn't going to ruin your skin if you remember to wash your face every morning and night and get a foundation that doesn't clog pores to much. I just have bad skin in general, even before I even started wearing makeup. Makeup is ART and it's HARD. I am still trying to master it. It's not a useless hobby because if you get good, you can get paid very well. Also, that Jakob guy sounds like an asshole. He obviously knows nothing about makeup.
