I read all your links ricepudding and i have to say: that as a woman I respect the feminist point of view, HOWEVER, in the interview Greta says she didn't feel awkward or angry or upset about the sorpresive and effusive way "the kissing sailor" chose to show his joy and relief. She gave the guy a break trying to UNDERSTAND that maybe he was so relieved that he didn't have to go
back and she was on that time in that place and that was a random action, she never says she felt abused or forced. It's not that she didn't have a choice because it wasn't premeditated or planned, it was quick. They even stayed in touch every once in a while, and that shows that she hadn't any biternnes or anger about the incident.
