Excuse me sir but you are very wrong. I am brazilian and its a fact that while our government spends an incredible amount of money in the 2014 fifa world cup,a big part of the population is left behind. When brazilian authorities promised us a world cup they said the improvements would extend to a big part of the people, they said that the infrastructure built for the world cup would last forever and go beyond the stadiums, but no. It didn't happen, it is a fact that most of the stadiums are surrounded by simple houses that don't even have water and energy. It is really good that someone posted this to show people from all over the globe the real situation of Brasil.
