No one that Mueller has persecuted in this mess has been charged with anything even remotely related to the claims against Trump. All charges have been either something they did years ago in their business or they have been charged with "lying" because maybe a small detail of what they said changed by one insignificant word in their 20th 18 hour interrogation versus the first one.
After two years there is no evidence that Trump did anything wrong. After 45 years there is no evidence that Nixon did anything wrong. So yes, this post is very apropos of current events, just not for the reason most of you think.

True except I'll bet no one reading this knows what really happened with Watergate. The cliff notes version is that there was NEVER any evidence produced that Nixon was involved. Furthermore I'll guarandamntee no one knows that Nixon was never prosecuted and thrown out of office - he resigned. And finally, he only resigned because the Republicans in Congress turned their backs on him. The democrats were on a witch hunt and the Republicans tucked their tails between their legs and threw one of their own under the bus with no just cause.
Today the exact same thing is happening to Trump. You probably don't know that there has never been any evidence of any wrong doing by Trump. There has never been anything but baseless rumors and outright lies spread by the democrats and their rabid media lapdogs. Mueller was never given a crime to investigate. After two years he hasn't found a single bit of evidence of a crime.
