Whilst you have a point, a mark up of several thousand percent is just absurd.

Especially since popcorn is dirt cheap: the average bag of cinema popcorn costs less than a nickel to make.

Solid is an illusion, everything's a liquid if you wait long enough or hit it hard enough.

But then someone makes the "lost sale" argument, which is equally flawed as you cannot prove that every pirate would buy it if downloading wasn't an option.

Yes, it is. Pluto and Charon are binary dwarf planets. If Pluto is to be considered a planet then so should it's "moon" Charon, as should Ceres, a dwarf planet in the asteroid belt. There's also Haumea orbiting further out than Pluto, Makemake further out still, then Eris, which is larger than Pluto and still not a planet, and finally Sedna. Either the slar system has 8 planets (the correct answer) or 15 (the plutophile's answer).

Pluto is smaller than our moon, our moon is more of a planet then Pluto.

Pluto was never a planet. Get over it.

No, an object's colour is defined by the light it reflects, not that it absorbs. Therefore black is colourless and white is every colour.

Agreed, although the daughter is obviously more wrong. Punching someone for destroying something you own without any provocation is far more justifiable than destroying someone's property because you don't like their opinion.

1. The inventor of the GIF is a programmer, not a lnguist, and can therefore fornicate with himself.
2. It's "Graphics Interface Format" not "Giraffe Interface Format".

If you're putting that much on you might as well just cover it with liquid latex and then put the makeup on top of that!

Except covering it with makeup blocks the pores and makes the acne worse.

Actualy English is based off one of the many early dialects of German (as are Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Icelandic, Frisian and Luxembourgish), it's just has had the greatest influence from Latinate languages.

You may be surprised to learn that you can get a camera that is not attached to a phone. In fact, at one point this was standard. Amazing!
