If the child is mature enough to understand what is happening and who he/she is really better of with than age in some cases doesn't matter. At 14 is where most kids start understanding situations like this.

Maybe after a certain age. But most of the time the child wants to go with the funner less strict parent which is
not necessarily always the best parent. The court decides who the child will be most save of and better of with. Its about the well being of the child. Letting the child choose is not always the best idea.

Take in consideration this are AP classes meaning advanced placement. They get more homework than the average high school kid so more hours of homework.

It doesn't happen that often with 7 year olds it happens more with like 13 year olds maybe 12.

And he's only counting the U.S population. People will probably go to other countries.

Seriously Venezuela is in South America, Mexico is in North America. My friends always have to clarify that they are not Mexican but they are Hispanic. And some people bring racism into the situation. My friend was called racist just because she said " I'm not Mexican I am Colombian" then the guy was like "What's wrong with being Mexican, I am not Mexican but I wouldn't mind if I was. That's kind of offensive to Mexicans" Luckily I was there and since I am Mexican I told its not racist to clarify her nationality and I did not find that offensive. If anything he was being ignorrant for thinking all Hispanics are Mexican.
