He got four water bottles. He emptied two of them out, filled them with vodka, and used the water in the remaining two water bottles to fill the vodka bottle.

It was part of the culture. Also, it had chili flakes and was mostly cacao, so it wouldn't have been pleasant.

I can't do conversions either (I think we have to end up dividing by 32 at one point), but I had to memorize it for bio-labs and stuff, and it still weirds me out that the rest of the world uses it, but damn is it easier than fractions.
