I live like a mile away from the incident.
It turns out the pilot did something kinda stupid. One of the engines on the wing weren't working, (normally the plane could still fly) but the pilot wanted to turn off the broken engine but instead turned off the good engine. Resulting in no engines running and the plane crashing into the city. He did a good job of avoiding all the buildings tho, thumbs up for that.
