False- the gecko shown here is a leopard gecko, native to the deserts of the middle east. They do not have the setae which gives most geckos sticky feet and ability to stick to walls. Leopard geckos instead have little nails to walk along the desert floor better. Although they metaphorically cannot stick to your heart, they can grip your heart and love you just as well :).
