People who run the company decide the hierarchy and job titles, even if it's one person. If they have a business tax ID and pay taxes as a business, they are a company. If it's a one person company and they give themselves the title of CEO, they are the CEO of their own company. Business terminology doesn't cease to apply just because you don't think a business is big enough for it.

I think (depending on the country) that child support is based on the payer's income. I've never met anyone, man or woman, who actually was awarded $600/month in child support. It's usually been around $250 - $300.

In our defense, Jager tastes like ten years in Hell feels if you don't cut it with the Red Bull. Or, I've found, a shit ton of Dr. Pepper.

Better idea: don't hit on your friend via text and expect any other outcome. If you're that into them, ask them out to their face instead of trying to worm in during a time when they've obviously just finished talking about another guy who's on their mind.

Well I'm hooked. Not a fan of facial hair myself though, that's the only downside I'm seeing here.

Literally nobody who uses the "their health" bullshit in their argument cares about the health of overweight people. That's just code to make "fat people deserve what they get" more acceptable to say out loud. People who are actually trying to love themselves as they are, usually are doing so because they either have tried to lose weight and failed miserably or are trying to get to a place mentally where they can start that VERY difficult journey. Most dramatic weight loss requires a full life overhaul, and so many people fail because instead of "you're valuable as a person" they get "maybe if you lost a little weight your life would be better/people would like you more." They don't need "hurr hurr, I'm not a doctor but OMG HEART DISEASE."

Most try. But by the end of the day you'll probably see plenty of replies to this thread that basically boil down to "I don't like fat people and I'm weirdly obsessed with making sure everyone knows they suck." The body positivity movements started because it's hard to get yourself on the right track to health when every judgmental stranger with nothing better to do feels like it's their sworn duty to make you feel gross. Male and female, but women get attacked for it more often.

Is the first guy one of those weirdo white supremacists running around these days? I notice he didn't mention native blacks, hispanics, or asians, and I'm pretty sure we've got a lot of those that have been here for generations and are doing pretty well. And probably understand what IQ measures better than this guy.

The little payment tickets that parking lots give out, you put them in your window to show you paid for the spot. He paid for both spots he's taking up.

I think most of them would end up in Nordic countries. They're not so much anti-capitalist as anti-extreme-capitalism. Most of them just think there's a point where current capitalism completely stops giving a shit about the world's human element.

Be careful though. I recently read a news column that a guy who did this still got and had to pay a ticket because the law said all cars must be parked between the lines to be legally parked.

At which point you probably shouldn't have that job and you're a liability to the company.

But why though? Like, what's the actual reason behind stopping people you don't know from posting pictures you won't see to social media circles you're not part of? "I hate it when other people are happy"?

If you're saying that an armed forces member who upholds the values of his country and people over the bad orders of a shitty superior is a bad soldier, I hope to God nobody ever gives you even a modicum of power.

It's a large industry and a legit answer. A little more provocative than 'nurses' or 'elementary teachers' but still a legit answer.

Well, when you write with the intent of selling to a larger and larger audience, you simplify as far as you cam and stick to the working formula. Pop is only one genre though, you can find plenty of Alternative radio stations playing what would have been considered good, mainstream music before it simplified so much.

It's university though. Your core shit is all basics (Algebra I, Algebra 2, and Geometry are sometimes offerings for math, US History in history, basic Spanish or French for language). The advanced classes are your curriculum classes for your major. I was in second level Latin, barely higher than what I did in 10th grade, while I was studying advanced dating techniques for fossilized or wooden remains. I take anything a foreign student coming into our curriculums with a grain of salt because the intent is so different.

Nope, this is a joke. "You're on the wrong planet" should clue you in. This is a common joke, and recognized as one. It makes no claim to being fact, and anybody who feels like they have to fact check an obvious joke--again, "you're on the wrong planet," absolutely no way this can be construed as trying to be serious--has some kind of chip on their shoulder.

It's kinda weird that some people are SO into being in everybody else's business that they can't even read a space joke without having a stroke. Like, damn...did a fat guy steal your girlfriend once? Calm down.
