But wouldn't a babysitter still carefully check the child's room to make sure they weren't dying or something? Checking in on a kid doesn't mean you'd wake them up... it's the smart and logical thing to do... right?

Exactly! If you have a hotel like this, don't expect people to not go see what the last floor is. Cuz they'll assume it's the best floor out of them all. Though frankly, I would've stayed on the fourth floor...
