It depends on where you get it. I have three and the most painful was the on my shoulder blade.

No, it isn't a joke. The tubes wasn't draining properly resulting in infections, so the chiropractor did some kind of adjustments to open it up or my son would've had to surgically have tubes put in. After three visits or so, no more ear infections. Haven't seen that doctor in years. An old friend recommended him because her son had the same ear issues and for the record, I don't bullshit on any comments I make. That's not in my nature.

I took my Autistic son to a chiropractor for chronic ear infections and he was totally against vaccinations. He told me how he thought the vaccinations was the reason. Then the doctor went on to tell me how his two (now teenage) children have never been vaccinationed and was home schooled because of such.

A little peck on the lips is innocent. I kiss my 7yr old son like that quite a bit. Those that disagree have issues of their own if they can turn a sweet gesture into something perverted.
