I'm no astrophysicist, but I think if the sun exploded or we got considerably closer or further, it might have some effect on us.

@peachypersimmon I don't think you can get any hotter, kugelblitz is as hot as it gets.

Unfortunately, people are generally either blatantly or accidentally complete jerks and would totally fucking abuse this essentially anarchistic sentiment.

It's more likely the opposite. I met a lot of people that use "swear words" in the military, but only a rare few of them had above average intelligence.

I will obtain this device. I currently use several mini binder clips.

Running over someone's mailbox and then later repairing it is not a random act of kindness.

"You can search by many criteria, including molecule name, source species, prosthetic groups, molecular weight, space groups, as well as specific precipitants, methods, or conditions". I guess that is a somewhat accurate description.

I'm not a neurologist or a toxicologist, but I am 99% sure that this would kill you. And it likely wouldn't be a butterflies and sunshine death, either.

I'll tell you what I've observed from the other point of view, having seen people come out: once it's out there, if you don't act much different, they won't treat you much different. If you abruptly transform into a 1980s movie stereotypical homosexual and make everything about your sexuality, then people are probably going to treat you differently/avoid you. Most people don't like a lot of abrupt change, regardless of what it is concerning.

Your computer functions by assigning a code to each symbol (letters, numbers, punctuation marks, etc.). If the alphabet were in no specific order, you could not assign a static code to each letter, ergo there would be no way for you to type anything into your computer. Also, the entire field of cryptography would be essentially nonexistent. It would change a lot of things that we don't even think of.

This is cooler. It is also probably cheaper, more efficient, offers greater intricacy of design, can be spontaneously customized without having to change physical parts, etc.

Actually, I don't use Android. And for my mp3 player, I have a Sansa that is like 15 years old and is still just as good or better than current iPods.
