TFiOS actually has a plot that makes sense though, unlike twilight where the main character tries killing herself several times just to see her sparkling boyfriend. I think the real reason TFiOS is so popular and liked is because people can relate. My sister had cancer when she was younger, so I can see why she loves the book. In the end, it all comes to preferences, so you can not like it, but don't bash others for being obsessed with it
