i dunno man, i had a friend hint around at a guy that i was interested (cuz i'm fucking 5) and when she came back to me saying he said i was in the "friend zone" i was like so seriously omg shut up, even as a female who was interested in a male who was not interested back i found this notion absolutely dumb. its not "friend zoned" its "they are not interested in a romantic relationship with you, either be happy being a friend or fuck off" and low and behold i stopped trying to hit that and just act friendly, instead of kept trying to be friendly while making doe eyes hoping he will sometime just see my inner worth and beauty.
