no, i must still disagree on that, i think obsession is likely the minority, its an unhealthy thing and you only hear about the things that are unhealthy, not the norm which is to fall in love and not always be loved back.

honestly mutual love can be obsession too, love and obsession are not exclusive, i think its obsession when you cannot let a person you love go when its over.. not as in not think of them, but dwell on it too much, keep chasing them too long, its like, you do the normal stuff we do when love fucks us up, but you do it TOO much.

i dunno, i feel like the only times i've ever walked the obsession line is when someone is playing me and pretending to have similar emotions... while its hard to stop thinking about the people who never loved you back, the normal person doesn't go stalker or anything, you only hear much about the people crossing the lines, because everyone else goes home and eats ice cream and gets drunk and works on moving on quietly without a lot of public fuss.
